Seven Hills Yoga
Thank you to each of you for showing up and practising with me during these hard times. It has been my goal to create an environment that allows for healing and connection. At this time, after much contemplation, I have decided to close the studio temporarily due to the current health risks we are faced with.
All classes cancelled Monday March 16 - Monday March 30, 2020 or until further notice.
No action is required by you. Pre-purchased cards will not expire.
For the health and well being of our community, I appreciate your understanding and co-operation. This is extremely difficult and as much as it may affect me financially, we need our health to be at the forefront.
I am looking into posting virtual classes on YouTube or some other format to help you with your practice at home.
Let's take a moment to feel gratitude for our yoga practice. Close your eyes, breathe deep, and quiet the mind.
Let’s all work together and stay united to help prevent the spread of this virus.

Spend Some Time With Us
Yin Yoga with Jeffrey
Yin Yoga is a very deep practice targeting the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that normally are not exercised very much in a more active style of asana practice. Poses are often held from 3 to 5 minutes or more.
A Taoist approach to yoga Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the Yang (dynamic and muscular styles of) yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles.
Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine.
Tensegrity Repair Beginner’s Intensive with Emily
3 pm – 5:30 pm, Friday, February 14th and
10 am – 12:30 pm, Saturday morning, February 15th
If you’re new to the Tensegrity Repair Series, this beginner’s intensive will give you an understanding of how and why we practice the way we do, setting you up to reap the full benefit of the program. The Tensegrity Repair Series is ideal for those who are recovering from injury or struggling with chronic pain, especially back pain. Most of the exercises in this slow and meditative practice are done lying on your back, which encourages re-alignment of neural pathways between body and mind. Feeling your way into movements and poses, you’ll gently recalibrate your body’s responses to stress and old injury. Incorporating breath work, freeing your mind from mundane concerns, and re-discovering your own fluidity of movement, you’ll learn to listen to your body in a new way and be able to carry that knowledge of ease from your mat into everyday life.
Suitable for all fitness levels and especially good for those returning to fitness, the exercises in this class give you more power with ease and help to protect you from injury in other exercise programs. Even those who are extremely fit can benefit from the new perspective on their neuromuscular system offered by these exercises.
